The home of the cuckoo clock is located in the vacation region Hochschwarzwald in the greater area of the communities Triberg, Schonach, Schönwald to Villingen-Schwenningen.

Thanks to the first world’s largest cuckoo clock made by a resourceful clockmaker, Schonach has already made it into the Guinness Book of Records. Today, visitors can see this unique piece of Black Forest clock history not only from the outside, but also from the inside. Outdoors, excursion destinations such as the legendary Blindensee or the Rohrhardsberg nature reserve attract visitors.
